Juan Mata believes signing Angel di Maria is great news for Manchester United.
Di Maria, 26, became United’s record transfer fee in a £59.7m move from European champions Real Madrid and is in line to make his United debut later today.
Speaking about Di Maria, Mata insisted he was acting as translator to try and help his team-mates in their conversations.
“I think it is great news for the clubs and the player,” Mata said.
“Di Maria is a great player who can bring a lot of great things.
“I’m trying to help him with the language as his English isn’t great. I’m acting as translator and same with Rojo and Ander before”
